We have been expanding and
modernizing our facilities and recently transformed two of our larger centers, adding new amenities, state-of-the-practice
equipment and additional comforts.
Renovations to our Medical Center at Westchester are completed and include
a 50% expansion to 15,000 square feet. This facility services more than 2,000
patients, making it the fourth largest in our network in terms of patient volume
Our Medical Center at Kendall, which provides primary care services to
approximately 1,400 patients was also substantially renovated. Most notable is the
new comprehensive medical diagnostic suite, including a multi-slice computed
tomography (CT) scanner which was recently installed.
What's Happening Around Continucare
Humana recognizes three Continucare Medical Centers as winners of their prestigious "Humana Five Star Award"
This award is presented to Humana affiliated medical centers which have exemplified excellence in care. Humana surveys the
patients of those medical centers on their satisfaction with their primary care, service and medical care treatment.
The results are then carefully analyzed with the highest scoring medical centers being the recipients of this award.

Idelfonso Gomez M.D. Receives Physician Leadership Award
Idelfonso Gomez M.D. is the recipient of the Continucare
Physician Leadership Award. The award is given based on criteria
that includes providing exceptional care to patients, showing a
deep understanding and respect for patient needs, fostering an
environment of teamwork and collaboration amongst our staff and
receiving consistently high patient satisfaction scores.

Continucare Walk-In Services Now Available
Our Continucare walk-in centers are a convenient
and affordable alternative to traditional healthcare
providers. Located within select medical centers
throughout Miami-Dade County, we treat illnesses
such as the flu, strep throat, pink eye, skin infections
and seasonal allergies, in a quick, convenient, and
patient-friendly setting. We also offer other high-
demand seasonal healthcare services such as school
and sports physicals and vaccinations.
